Sleepless nights!

“I waited inside my blanket for this night to pass by, the turmoil and the pain to finally cross.

But as I looked, it was still dark outside and a breeze of fresh air brushed across my flocks.

A bright day is near I thought, blinking to the clock on the wall but the time didn’t seem to move.

This was one of the many sleepless nights in the row and I was starting to feel a familiar groove.

As I could listen to my own thoughts and heart beats except for when my mind won’t stop screaming.

The tossing and turning while talking to the pillows and the eyes wide open, dreaming.

The hazy sky far away is now greyish, orange and cream, but my night has just started in the hope to not fall off the brim.”
